John Sheils has been providing health care policy consulting services with The Lewin Group for more than 20 years. He is a nationally known authority on the cost and coverage impacts of various proposals to expand health insurance coverage and health care reform.

• Mr. Sheils works with a variety of clients, including state governments and legislatures, the federal government, private associations, foundations and health plans.
• He has testified before various Congressional committees and commissions on health care reform and often works directly with members of Congress, designing health care reform proposals.
• Mr. Sheils earned a B.A. degree from the State University of New York, Brockport, and an M.S. degree in Public Policy from Carnegie Mellon University, in Pittsburgh, PA.
