Dr. Peter Lindgren was instrumental in establishing Stockholm Health Economics as a leading consulting group in health economics, and acted as the CEO for the company upon acquisition by OptumInsight in 2007 Dr. Lindgren became head of the cardiovascular and metabolic research group in Stockholm.

• Dr. Lindgren is an internationally recognized health economics expert in cardiovascular medicine and diabetes, and has published more than 45 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters on economics alongside clinical trials, health economic modeling, burden of illness, clinical praxis, epidemiology and other subjects.
• He is often invited to speak at conferences and pharmaceutical companies and he has served on the steering committees for clinical trials and on product-specific advisory boards.
• Dr. Lindgren holds an M.Sc. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology and a Ph.D. degree in Epidemiology from Karolinska Institute, both in Stockholm.
