
William Crown, Ph.D.

Dr. William Crown is President of Life Sciences and widely known for introducing sample selection bias models into the pharmaceutical outcomes research literature.
- Before joining Life Sciences, he was Vice President of Outcomes Research and Econometrics in the Research and Pharmaceutical Division at Medstat.
- He held a number of faculty positions at Brandeis University’s Florence Heller Graduate School, including Faculty Chair and Director of Research in the Policy Center on Aging.
- He has authored two books, co-authored two others, and written more than 90 peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters and other scholarly publications.
- He is a frequent speaker at professional meetings and conferences on the subjects of pharmaceutical economics and econometric methodology.
- Dr. Crown holds a Ph.D. degree in Urban and Regional Studies from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an M.A. in Economics from Boston University.
