Tim Wicks is the president of Business Platforms and Operations for OptumInsight. In this role, Wicks is responsible for developing and leading standard business processes in order to deliver high quality, consistent customer experiences.

Prior to joining OptumInsight, Wicks was President and COO of YRC Worldwide, Inc., the largest publicly traded transportation and logistics service provider in the United States. Previously, Wicks held roles in operations, product management, and business development at UnitedHealthcare, and held executive positions at Dell, Inc., Northwest Airlines, and Bain & Company. He also co-founded a registered investment advisory firm that developed quantitative investment strategies for institutional clients.

In addition to his executive responsibilities, Wicks served as non-executive Chairman of the Board and audit committee member for GenCorp, and is currently a member of the board of directors and audit committee for Precision Castparts Corporation.

Wicks earned an MBA from Harvard University Graduate School of Business and received a BS in economics from the University of Chicago.
