The OptumInsight Claredi CORE testing and certification system builds on the solid reputation of Claredi’s long-standing transaction certification system and represents OptumInsight’ commitment to the CAQH CORE initiative.

CORE initiative background

The Council for Affordable Quality Health Care launched the Committee on Operating Rules for Information Exchange (CORE) initiative to improve provider access to eligibility and benefits information before or at the time of service using the electronic system of their choice. CORE consists of nearly 100 industry stakeholders representing more than 125 million commercially insured lives.

Authoritative transaction testing

Our CORE certification product was developed in conjunction with the primary author of the 270/271 Implementation Guide (4010) and the draft X12N 5010 Implementation Guide, upon which many of the CORE data content rules are based. As a part of the process, OptumInsight offers direct consultation with the author.

Real-world testing: The OptumInsight value-add

Our CORE testing product allows users go beyond the CORE test base data and test their systems with real world production data. Built around Claredi’s fast and accurate HIPAA transaction testing engine, this provides a more comprehensive picture of their systems’ 270/271 capabilities.
