Full-day MS-DRG education workshop

This 6-7 hour onsite session covers the full detail of MS-DRGs, including the concepts of grouping and major diagnostic categories. It also covers the role complications and comorbidities (CCs) play in grouping and pricing, including all of the payment rules and variables that constitute claims management. The fee of $6,000 plus travel expenses includes an electronic version of the OptumInsight education materials for distribution to session attendees and other interested staff.

Half-day MS-DRG education workshop

For attendees who already are familiar with basic DRG concepts, OptumInsight offers a half-day session that concentrates on the new MS-DRG methodology and how its grouping and payment rules differ from the previous DRG methodology. This session lasts 3–4 hours and is provided  onsite ($3,500 plus travel expenses) or via webinar. OptumInsight will provide an electronic version of the education materials for distribution to session attendees and other interested staff.
