Brian Kelly runs a number of global P&Ls for OptumInsight’s life sciences group, each centered around developing, proving, and improving the value proposition for pharmaceutical, biologic, and medical device interventions. He has spent more than 15 years in the pharmaceutical and device industries with experience that includes global operating responsibility for Covance’s central laboratories and serving as vice president of research planning at Merck and Co.

Prior to joining OptumInsight, Brian’s experience included working at a medical device startup, a term at E.I. DuPont, and service as an active-duty naval officer. He holds a degree in chemical engineering from Drexel University and a master’s from the Wharton and Engineering schools at the University of Pennsylvania.
